Gene, my husband's great grandmother was Hester Lee Harrington, her parents being John Allen Harrington and Anna America Massey. I have noticed that John A. appears on the 1860 census for St. Clair Alabama with Thomas and Mary (2nd wife) Harrington. The Thomas "Arington" in the 1850 census in Harris Co. Ga however does not list Louisa his first wife or John, who would have been an infant, but the older children match. Do I have the right parents for John? Where is Louisa and infant John in 1850? Also anything you have on the other siblings would be much appreciated. All I have is what I have been able to gather from census and records. I have been guessing that Samuel Aldridge is Louisa's father as he is the only Aldridge in the county in 1840, the year before she married Thomas J. Harrington. This is only speculation however. Thanks for responding, anything you have to lead me the right way on these Harringtons would be appreciated. I have some things on John and Anna's children from another descendant but not much on the next generation back.
