I am searching for information on the family of Amanda Elizabeth Miles. This is my great grandmother. Amanda married Berryman Boes in 1869 in Middletown Ky. In 1870 census George Miles is living with them. Henry Miles and wife Mary are living close by. 1870 census shows Amanda, George, Henry and Mary were all born in Georgia.
A relative told me that my grandfather was born in Haralson Co. Ga. With that information I am assuming that Amanda still had relatives living in Haralson Co. (and was there on a visit when my grandfather was born) and that is where she was from orginally but I can not find records to support this assumption.
Any help on tracing this family would be greatly appreciated.
