I am searching for the family of Martha C. Platt/Plott b. abt 1838 in Haywood, NC and who married Julius Cesar Pitts b. 1840 in Carrol County, moved to Tallapoosa(Haralson County) Georgia, married abt 1859. Martha is on the 1850 Census in Haywood, NC with her parents, Amos Plott b. 1800 and Sara Plott b. 1810. Their children are Enos b. 1832, John b. 1833 amd Martha. Also on the list is Emely Gambrell b. 1822 and John Cambrel b. 1804

1860 Census Martha at 24 is with her husband J. C. Pitts in Carroll, GA

1870 Census Martha and J. C. are listed with Susan 9 and James M. 5

On the 1880 Census, Martha is living with husband, Julius, her children: Susan Jane Pitts b. 1860 and W. John Pitts b. 1873 and a James Gambel b. 1860.

on the 1900 and 1910 Census Martha and Julius are together, no others in the household

I can conclude that Martha's parents are Amos and Sarah (?)and the Gambrel/Gambels are either her brother or uncle and that after she married she took in her nephew James.

Martha and Julius's daughter, Susan Jane Pitts b. 1860 married Joseph Jesse Linfield Mann b. 1857 in Tallapoosa, GA.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
