Seeking access to church records of Bethany Baptist Church, which was constituted August 28, 1830, in what later became Haralson County. I'm specifically interested in the Elijah Stephens family that were members there. At thattime Elijah was married to Lucy Flanigan, daughter to Wm. and Mary "Polly" Flanigan, Rev. War Vet. It is believed that she had a brother, George Flanigan. Lucy Flanigan died in Oct. 1840. Later in 1849 Elijah married Rebecca Banks. Elijah died in Haralson Co. July 24, 1871. Any information on this church and/or family would be greatly appreciated
