James DAVIS, Samuel DAVIS-buried near Temple

I am trying to locate the burial place of Samuel Davis, his wife Rhoda Davidson Davis and their son James Davis. All I know is this: family records say James was a planter and a school teacher in Carroll County, but he could have been in the part of Haralson that later became Carroll. James was born in 1795 in North Carolina. I don't have a date of death. Samuel was born in North Carolina in 1755/56. He died in the care of his son James in either Haralson County or Carroll County in what family records say was about 1844. Presbyterian church records say 1833, but only because he did not attend meetings that year for the first time and they assumed he had died. He was one of the early Presbyterian ministers in western NC. Family papers say only that Samuel is buried "near the little town of Temple." I have nothing else to go on. If anyone knows anything about James "Jimmy" Davis, his father Samuel or the burial places, I would appreciate the information so much.
