I am searching for more information on C.Joshua Stephens who appears in the 1880 Haralson Co., GA census (place is Newman? Is anyone familar with where in Haralson Co. that would be??).
On the 1880 census, C. Joshua Stephens, age 34, heads a household that includes Elizabeth Stephens, age 81, probably his mother. His children were born in Kentucky. This family matches a family in the 1870 Crittendon Co., Kentucky census that is headed by J.C. Stephens, age 24, born in AL, A.J. Stephens, female, born AL, R.D.C. Stephens, age 4, born KY, J.F. Stephens, age 3, born KY, J.J.C. Stephens, age 6/12, born in KY, J. Stephens (male), age 76, born NC, and B. Stephens, age 69, born SC.
I think this Joshua Stephens is the youngest child of J. (Joshua) Stephens and Elizabeth Morgan Stephens. Does anyone have more information about this family? Thank you!
