Lazarus/Lazros Owens may have been the father of 23 children, I was told he married three times and outlived all his wives.
Lazros Owens married Mariah Wood on Aug 17, 1857 in Haralson Co. Another wife was Susan Alice Levens that he married in 1917.
My great grandfather was the father of 26 children and I have found the names of 23 of them. He also married three times, but only had children by two of them. So Lararus could have fathered 23 children.
I did a look-up recently for a man and that is where I got the information about the 23 children. This is not my family and I do not have much info beside what I posted.
