As far back as I can remember the Patterson Funeral Home in Sparta, GA, has been there. It currently is run by the second generation of Pattersons. This was the only funeral home to serve the white population. Sparta is so small, I'm sure you could get their phone number from information, or if you prefer, send a letter addressed to Patterson Funeral Home, Sparta, GA. 31087(check with Zip Code information to see if this is right. I haven't written to anyone there in ages.) I promise you, the post office will deliver it with just that address. There are probably less than 2,000 people in Sparta today so everyone knows everybody in town. Good luck and let me know what happens.
