Andrew Flowers, born VA ca. 1787, resident of Rockbridge, Gwinnett, from before 1830-after 1860, had three daughters, two born 1810-1815 and one born 1815-1820. All three were in his household in Gwinnett in 1830, but all were gone by 1840. All were born in SC.
I'm trying to identify those daughters. One may be the Arrena born SC 1811 who married Robert Coggins ca. 1831 (they were living in Rockbridge, Gwinnett, in 1850). Family records say she was a Flowers and she named a son Andrew. I have no idea who the other two were.
If anyone has an unknown female spouse of these ages, born in SC, who married in Gwinnett between 1830-1840, look at the 1830-40 censuses and see if the family was in the same area as Andrew Flowers--and if she named a son Andrew or a daughter Frances, that might be a clue as well.
I'd like to hear from anyone who thinks there might be a Flowers connection in Gwinnett in the 1830s!
