Florida Indian wars William Gassaway
Posted by: Lois Edwards (ID *****3234) Date: December 25, 2011 at 13:40:40

My ggg grandfather William Gassaway was killed in the Florida Indian wars. He was alive in 1840 so I am sure he was in the second Florida war. He was a private in Captain Sutton's Georgia volunteers 1 st regiment. Does anyone know how to find out where he was killed? The information I have, came from the BLO. I need more information.
