I'm looking for my 3rd G Grandfather's lineage, Abraham/Abram/A. M. Head b. ABT 1811, GA and his wife's lineage if possible, Suzanna/Rhuanna/Rhoanna b. ABT 1815, SC, per census records.

The Morgan name is a prominent middle name in my Head family and I am told it has something to do with an "old family name". This leaves 3 possibilities, (1) we are connected to Henry and Mary (Morgan) Head, (2) we are connected to Benjamin and Catherine (Morgan) Head, and (3) the Morgan connection is through Suzanna/Rhuanna/Rhoanna.

The 1st census record we locate Abraham and Suzanna in is the 1850 Division 12, Gordon Co, GA census, 1860 Dalton, Whitfield Co, GA, by the 1870 Dalton, Whitfield Co, GA census Abraham disappears from the record, and by 1880 almost all of this Head family had moved to Arkansas.

Their children were:
Elizabeth Head b: ABT 1832, John M. Head b: ABT 1834, Jeremiah Head b: ABT 1836, Mary F. Head b: ABT 1838, Washington Head b: ABT 1840, Abram M. Head b: ABT 1842, James Head b: ABT 1844, William H. Head b: ABT 1846, Sarah A. Head b: ABT 1848, Benjamin Franklin Head b: ABT 1851, Christopher C. Head b: ABT 1855, per census records all born in GA.

Jeremiah married Susan Elizabeth Green, Mary F. married James Holden, Elizabeth A. married F. M. Holden, a brother to James, and Abraham Jr. married Hannah M. Swofford/Swafford. Washington is married to a Melinda in the 1860 Dalton, Whitfield Co census, with a son Stephen in the home. Washington and son are living with Rhuanna by the 1870 census. We must assume he died, because by 1880 Stephen is living with Christopher and his family in Gray, White Co, AR. Mary F., Sarah, and William H. disappear aft. the 1860 census. John M. disappears aft. the 1850 census record.

Any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated!
