Looking for information on a gentleman known as Uncle "Bud" Weeks (1839) by John Henry Mitchell. I have a picture of him taken on his 87th birthday, at the home of Charlie Weeks somewhere around Armuchee, Gordon Co., GA.,in Jun 1926.
Also on pictures taken that day are: Nannie Underwood Baker (1904); a Mr Beard; Mary Mitchell Fuller; John Henry Mitchell (1858) wife Sarah Baker Mitchell (1861); Ruth Fuller Brown and daughter Vilolar (LNU).
Uncle Bud could be the brother of Amelia A Weeks (1836), who married a David Mitchell (1836)(KIA in Civil War). Amelia, Charles & John Weeks were the children of Charles Pinkney Weeks (1818) and (FNU) Coggins. There was a David Joshua Baker in the Dry Valley Community near Dew Pond.
I need information on any of these persons. Can anyone help me? I will gladly exchange any information i have with you.
