I am curious about your Sarah Sallie. Did she have other marriages? My gg grandmother was Sarah Sallie Smith, and I don't know if the Smith came from maiden name or previous marriage, but before she married my gg grandfather, Wesley Oliver, (who lived in Pickens County), census records state that she had eight children, only three living, which leads me to believe that she was previously married--not to mention she was almost a decade older than Wesley. Also, my grandfather, their grandchild, spent some time in Gordon County. I don't know where, but I'm assuming that it was with relatives. Janice
