Hi everyone,

I just wanted everyone to know that there is a new discussion group on yahoogroups.com. This group is devoted to Gee Dupree who married Ann Maria Dart in 1826. Gee was first married to Ann McLeod, widow of James McLeod.

Gee Dupree was born in NC or GA. He lived for many years and married in Glynn Co., GA. He migrated with his family to Marion Co., FL where he died in 1845.

Many of Gee's descendants ended up in the following Florida counties, DeSoto, Manatee, Marion, Hardee, Polk, Putnam, Hillsborough, Collier and more.

We are not limiting the group to just Dupree descendants. Anyone who is related to Gee, either through the Duprees or the other families that married into Gee's line, may also join. Some of the surnames are Howard, Dart, McLeod, Underhill, Arnold, among many others. Anyone related to Gee's first wife, Widow Ann McLeod, is also invited.

If anyone is interested in joining this group, please feel free to email me at

landlisa@bellsouth.net

I'll be happy to send you an invitation to the group. Thanks.

Lisa
