I have slightly different information than you do, am getting ready to go out of town, will keep this brief. Morrell Auston Knight was b. 16 Jul 1912in Wayne Co., GA, d. 01 Dec 2001, and is buried in Palmetto Cem. His wife was Mary Paula Sparre, b. 06 Sep 1912 in Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa(I have no idea how Australia got into this mix}. They were m. 21 Dec 1940 in Glynn Co, GA. Morrell's parents were a Samuel West Knight, b. 22 Aug. 1891 in Mt. Pleasant , GA, d. 11 Apr 1954{he was a turpentine Woodsman and served in WW1}. His mother was Minnie Lee Jones, b. 05 Sep 1891 in Liberty Co., GA. Samuel West Knight's parents were a Elijah Tucker Knight, Jr. and a Ann Louisa Akin, She was born 14 May 1866. She was the daughter of Samuel West Akin and Louise Helen Liles. Samuel West Akin's parents were Sherrod Sheffield Akin and Elizabeth Kemp. Samuel West Akin had a sister, Mary Elizabeth Akin, who was my great grandmother on my paternal side. The parents of Sherrod Sheffield Akin were a William Akin and a Floey Sheffield. Floey's father was a West Sheffield{Shuffel, Shuffeld}, lots of stuff on him on the Internet.A lot of it is incorrect, spent several years trying to straighten it out. Keep in touch, my Internet erases after 2 weeks. Nancy
