Well to answer my own question I found on the death certificate of Lydia Ann Pence Crane daughter of Marion Pence and Mary Ann Whisenant. It stated that her mother's maiden name was Whisenant.
Marion Pence's second wife Mary Ellen Taylor, had been married to Franklin A. Taylor before she married Marion Pence. But her True maiden name was Baker.
