William,

My gg grandfather was Colonel John R Hart. He was with the 6th Georgia Cavalry after it merged with Smiths Legion. He lived in Floyd County but was from Granville County, NC. There is a monument to his service in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Rome. I wish I had a picture or something to share but I don't.
