Elizabeth Davis Mathis

I am looking for information on the burial location of Elizabeth Davis Mathis. I had always believed that she was buried with her husband, William Mathis at Minter Mathis Cemetety. But, I was looking at some cemetery photos posted at the Cemetery Surveys Web site for Cochran Family Cemetery in Lumpkin County and found one for an Elizabeth Davis Mathis born 1817 with no date of death listed. I looked up the location of this cemetery on a DOT County Map and found that it is located close to the Gilmer County Line off of Hwy 52.

Has anyone ever been or know anyone that has been to the Minter Mathis Cemetery where William Mathis is buried? Does anyone know if his wife, Elizabeth Mathis was buried there with him? I have always assumed she was buried there too, but after coming across this photo I am now questioning that. Does anyone know of any connection with her and the Cochran Family? Any info appreciated.

Surnames: Mathis, Bates, Stover, Hood, Burnett, Miller, Charles, Gibson
