All I have is family stories. I understand my g grandfather Charles Patterson was murdered, that he was found on the side of the road burned to death. They say my grandfather Hershel V Patterson and family wouldn't talk about it or who did it...Charles Patterson born 1860 married daughter of Rice Key, her name was Mindy,or Amanda, several spelling exsist. My grandfather born 1893 Gilmer County Ellijay off Boardtown Rd. I trace my ggrandfather to 1910 after that he is not listed on census reports. He was born in 1860. He lived off Boardtown Rd Boardtown,(Ellijay PO)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would like to enter it in my genealogy book.
I thank you in advance for any light you can shed or how I can go about finding out...Thanks Donald Vitelli
