I am the Historian of East Point, Hillcrest Cemetery and the Curator at the East Point Historical Society. I do know of a Chandler lot in Hillcrest cemetery which is located in East Point. I will look in some records when I open the society Sat. Sept. 25.

East Point was called such in 1857 but was not a chartered city at that time. It chartered under that name in 1887. Depends on where he lived. If in the original city limits or in parts that later incorporated into the city of East Point.

Here are some of the Chandlers buried in East Point at Hillcrest cemetery I have in the copy of records at my home.Name, date of death and plotting numbers. Note this is likely not complete due to ill record keeping by the cemetery.

Chandler Ada Annabelle Mrs. 19 Jan 1982 1 5 9 5
Chandler Baby Girl 28 Jun 1969 3 I 1
Chandler Florence 13 Jul 1975 4 19 2 1
Chandler Harry F Jr. 7 Aug 1991 1 5 9 4
Chandler Harry H 14 Nov 1969 1 5 E of 9 5
Chandler Laura Frances 3 Jul 1975 1 5 9 5
Chandler Walter H 29 Nov 1937 1 5 7/9?
Chandler William A. 15 May 1956 4 19 2 2
Chandler Wm H. (Bobby) 11 Jul 1987

Missing is a child's burial, I believe it to be "Lamar Chandler".
