What are you specificaly searching for? Methodist churches did not always have fulltime ministers. Contact Mercer Univ. in Macon, GA and ask for the Methodist Church Library and see what they tell you. Most churches had circuit riders and they kept all the records for their congregations. When they left all records went with them and unless the minister or family decided to give the records to them there would be none. You could also contac6t the GA Archives, Jonesboro Rd
Jonesboro, GA.

I think St. Paul UMC in GrantPark, only abt 1 mile from Mariettia St is the oldest in Atlanta.
The Baptist just do not keep records at all. They pretty much kept what few there were in the samefashion.
