Chamblee is in DeKalb Co., not Fulton. During WWII there was a military installation
and hospital on the site of what is now
Peachtree DeKalb Airport in Chamblee. Not sure when it was built. Call reference and archives at the Atlanta History Center - they have been very helpful with locating places that no longer exist. Also try the reference desk at the main Atlanta/Fulton Co. library. Good luck.
