I'm afraid I know little about Mena and her family. I was following the path of Jacob and was surprised to find the marriage record as this would be a second marriage for him that I was not aware of.

It appears that she may have been living with her family in Powder Springs, Cobb County, Georgia in 1880 census (father James White and mother M. White). Not sure how she would have met Jacob who was in Ohio in 1880 until at least 1885.

Do you have access to the marriage record? If so, does it give any information wrt to Jacob's and/or Mena's parentage?
