What a generous offer and I am sure would be most appreciated. According to a cemetery survey done in 1994 by Ted O. Brooke, the most recent (at that time) burial was Charles Emerson (1916-1992). According to Ted, the cemetery is known as the Strickland (Little-Terry) Cemetery.
I have been doing some family research in Cumming in the Property Deeds (Clerk of the Court in the Court House). The next time I am there I will try to get some help in locating this property.
As an editorial (!), Forsyth County is losing some of these old cemeteries through neglect, greedy land developers and vanishing families.
I will be away for a week, so my search will have to be postponed. Hopefully, I will have some results for you soon. Thanks for your interest. Pat
