I am looking for a marriage record in Polk Co. Ga. or Floyd Co. Ga. for Ladora/Ledora Kerr (middle initial could be F.) She was born about 1858 in Floyd Co. She is listed in the 1860 Floyd co. census with her parents William Kerr and Alethea Palmer, and sister Laura. Her parents, or at least her mother, must have died before 1870 because Ladora and Laura are living in the household of Nancy Kerr in Polk Co. Ga. then. Laura married in Polk co. Ga. but I can't find a record of Ladora's marriage. She may be listed as Dora.
If possible, I am looking for Ladora's spouse and marriage date and any cemetery records for her parents and her and her spouse.
I did find a John J. Summers(sp) with a wife named Ladora and son Fletcher R. born August 1879. living in Floyd Co. Ga. in 1880. No further record of them though. If this is Ladora, she may have married again before 1900. In 1900 Floyd co. I found a Ladora married to William N. Mooney. This could be her also. ??????? Please help me...
