"Wharton-Trout House," Cave Spring, Floyd, GA

In my TROUT family research, I have found that there is an Italian Villa style house on Rome Street in Cave Spring, Floyd County, Georgia that is registered on the National Register History Places as the "Wharton-Trout House," also perhaps known as "Broad Oaks."

Does anyone have additional information on which TROUT family built or lived in this historic house?

Thank you so much!
Craig H. Trout
