A family of Pollards, lived near Whitewater Baptist Church, between Woolsey and Brooks Georgia. I remember one son named Wright/Right? Pollard, a daughter named Sally, she married a man by the name of Buck Putnam who ran a store and a cotton Gin in Brooks,Ga. There were more brothers but I can't remember their names. One I think was named Bannard Pollard, this was back in the mid forties when I was about 8 or ten years old... I descend from the Ogletree that first settled in Virginia then in Caswell County, North Carolina and from there to Wilkes County,Georgia, This is a guess but I think the Pollards may have come to Georgia from Wilkes County,Georgia
