I am researching Josephine Burdett, who appears to be a niece of Georgia's, although I have a different birthdate for Georgia.

Josephine was my greatgrandmother and I knew her when I was small. While looking for information on Josephine prior to her marriage in 1894 in Jefferson County AL to Joseph Russell Skinner, I collected some limited info on the Burdett family by tracing Harvey A. Burdett back from 1930 Jefferson County AL (they had lived in the same area) and found Josephine listed with Harvey, Georgia, other siblings, and their mother in 1870 Fayette Co GA. Based on the 1860 Gwinnett Co GA census and some genealogical info posted by Scott Dingle at the link below, the parents are Stephen Burdett/Burdette and Lavina/Laviney/Lavinia Hendricks.

It may be that your Georgia is a daughter of one of the Burdett sons.
