Sorry, I really don't know what his first wife, Sarah J/Mary's maiden name is. I thought she might have been a Ward but she might not have been. Her date of death would not fit the marriage date of Miles Ward & Linea "Linny" McLean. I know James G. Morris was one of several apprasiers for Miles Ward's estate on 14 Dec. 1865 and he gave bond and securities along with John O. Brown on the estate of Miles Ward. James was also on securities on the Temporary Administer's Bond Of John M. Ward on the estate of Miles Ward(same date of above). James signed (X) mark on John's Adm. Bond on 5th Feb. 1865 on the estate of Miles Ward.
