Janet, I am a descendant of William Miles. I have just found this line, and had no idea that he had a daughter, Chrissy. I have Chrissy's brother? George Jackson Miles, as my 3rd great-grandfather. He married second to Mary C. Smith. Is she any relation to your William Lawrence Smith? I have some information on William Miles' wife, Agnes Nutt, but not much. Would love to share information.
