Hi Mark,

Always glad to get information on my family. Thanks for offering to share.

As for the DNA, it may not add new information but it can certainly back up a paper trail or help connect with the right family group and save years of researching the wrong families. Had my family had it done years ago I would have had no reason to spend my time researching the Josiah Warren family...other than to do what I eventually did...Prove that Josiah was not my Reuben's father and that Reuben had no family connection to the Surry VA researchers had printed in books in the late 1800's, early 1900's. Even the book on the History of Laurens Co, GA has it wrong.

There are researchers who have a James Warren connected to the Surry VA Warrens...Robert, his son Hinchie and his son Josiah. However, a member of that family spent her life researching and thoroughly documenting her family and always said there was no James connected to her Surry VA Warren family. So any information on this James interests me for several reasons.
