Lavaskue/Lasasque & Painter/Panter relationship
Posted by: KAREN PATTERSON (ID *****4589) Date: January 02, 2003 at 20:21:49

There is a Sarah Lavaskue living a few doors down from my Painter family. I have a strong feeling that this is a long lost sister.
She shows on the 1870 Fannin co. census, living next door to Francis Lavaskue age 32. Since Sarah is 63, I assume that Francis is her son. I also found a marriage for a Martha Lavaskue to a Nathanial Green in Fannin Co.

H. N Lavasque is listed on Madison Panter's estate papers, and I'm very curious as to why, unless Sarah is his sister.

Many thanks

Karen Patterson
