My mother was Marguerite Lamb Newman. Her father was John Edward Lamb, born in 1873 in Emanuel Co., GA. John Edward Lamb had 7 daughters: Clara, Orita, Effie, Shelly, Marguerite, Lillie Mae, and Alice Marie. His parents were Will Lamb and Elizabeth ? Lamb. John Edward Lamb died in 1937 and is burried in Edgewood Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida. Hope this helps.
