I am trying to locate any information regarding Buford Thompson who married a G. Lawson Rountree of Emanuel Co. They have a stone in the city cemetery (Swainsboro) but I don't think they are buried there and probably lived out of state at the time of their death. One of their sons is buried there, I believe his name is Wiley Rountree and he died in N.C. Buford was the daughter of Jesse Thompson who was once the mayor of Swainsboro. Any information about her or the Thompson connection would be greatly appreciated. Candace Jeffers Smith
