Any information on the Mercer family from Emanuel County Georgia is appreciated.

John may have worked in Saw Mills in Emanuel County Georgia in late 1800s.

He later moved up to Richmond County Georgia and worked in Cotton Mills. John Mercer died around 1911 in AIken, Langley South Carolina, Bath.
