Hi Charlie, Noted your reply to the lady inquiring about John Coleman, Lindsey Coleman, et al and I've replied to her with what I hope will be some helpful information to her. Moses Mathews Coleman was my great uncle. Daniel was my great, great, grandfather. Thomas Jefferson Coleman was my great grandfather. My grandfather was Daniel Webster Coleman. Mose and Thomas Jefferson were brothers of course. That makes us some degree of cousins. I'd have to think about it to determine what. I've been doing my Coleman family geneology off and on for several years. It seems the more I document the more questions are raised and it never ends. But it is fun . Some time back I met with Mose and Jane Faulk, whom I'm sure you know, in Vidalia. Time was short but we did have an opportunity to compare some notes and had an enjoyable session. Since I've been trying to determine my great grandmother's maiden name. Her name was Sarah and she was Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) Coleman's first wife and mother of Daniel W. Coleman, my grandfather. She died in 1888 and is buried at Elam Church in what was then Emanuel County. Have also been trying to find information on Thornton. My e-mail is rcolemal@bellsouth.net. I live in Savannah. Would like to hear from you. Notify Administrator about this message?
