What happened to Susan Harmon?

My aunt told me that my great great grandmother who married Robert J. Pulliam was Susan Harmon Pell. (She might have said
Bell and I misunderstood her) Susan Harmon married Robert Pulliam in 1848 in Elbert County. I know that Robert is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Elbert County, but I can find no Susan buried with him. According to history notes Robert also married Sarah A.S. Seymour and Susan C. Sanders. My aunt said nothing about a divorce. Is it even likely that Susan could have divorced in the mid 1800's and remarried? Or is she just buried at Hillcrest with no tombstone. Do any of you have a Susan Harmon (Pell) or (Bell)who married a Pulliam in your line. She was born 1829 and had at least one daughter, Ophelia Pulliam who married Woodson Thomas Sanders. They are both buried at Hillcrest. So where is my Susan who might have also been named Pell or Bell?
