Do you have anything further on the Solomon Jones you shown as being born c. 1785 prob. in NC?

I have father Robert Jones and son Jesse Jones. Jesse was born in GA c. 1788; thus I conclude Robert was in GA at least by that date. I find them first in Clarke Co. but have no record evidence of them there earlier than 1820-21.

I find a Robert Jones in the Reconstructed 1790 census in Elbert and one in Wilkes. My instinct is that Elbert is the more likely location.

There were many Joneses in Elbert including an earlier Jesse, but to date I cannot connect mine to those.

Do you know anything about Solomon's parentage? Can you place him in any particular NC county or area?
