BK,
Go to the Probate Office in the courthouse first. They have all the original books from 1790 when the county was formed. They will make you copies from any of them. They also have books that the library has and more. My Terry lived in Elbert Co. for at least a hundred years. I have spent the day in the vault. The Probate Clerk has really helped me. I have copies of actual marriage, church, wills, etc. I am very grateful for all their help.
