Norita,
Would you be so kind as to look in the Salzsburgers Book for an ELEAZER BELL (BEALL) and a Dr. JESSE BELL ? They were in Effingham Co. as late as 1810 when they applied for and received "Passports" to cross Indian Land. Eleazer took hes family to Amite Co., MS that same year, but I'm not certain about Dr. Jesse Bell.
I have been told they both owned adjaacent lands in Effingham Co. in about 1795, and that they have consecutive "Georgia Land Lottery" numbers, but don't know that of my own knowledge. (heresay, I have not seen any documentation).
Eleazer Bell m. MARY CAUSEY in Effingham Co. 27 Jan 1805, but I think Mary may have been a second wife as the birthdate of one of the children is 1801. If you see any refernece to the CAUSEY surname, I would also appreciate that information.
Thank you for your efforts.

J. C. Bell (badnews@bellsouth.net)
