Bob, thanks for the information on Foy/Trowell line,in Effingham Co.GA.
I will add this to some I already have. You helped fill in some blanks.
In that line of Trowells, there is a Gladys Trowell who married Gevert Semkens.
I always called her Aunt Gladys, but in those days everyone was either called aunt or uncle, or cousin.
She would have been a cousin and lived in Savannah.
When my mom died in 1989 her name was in her address book.Any knowledge of her.
I know in later years my Mom would go to Egypt with her and her son (Frank) to attend Trowell reunions, which she said was also Foy family.
We are planning at least a week stay in the Effingham area in late June.
