I'm interested in your information on the CARTER marriages from Effingham County. Also, I see that Margaret Lweis sent you information on the HORNING and DICKERSON lines. She also sent me information on the DICKERSON line since I have a grand-aunt Mattie CARTER that married Shedric J. (or M) DICKERSON on December 27, 1906 in Chatham County, GA. She was the daughter of my great-grandfather Robert CARTER and Josephine LIGHTSEY, who are both buried at Brickyard Cemetery.

Might you share your information on the CARTER marriages? I'm at a loss as to how to track down the CARTERS, and I'm one of them and grew up in Savannah! :-)
