i tried to send e-mail but it came back.
there is an article on the internet entitled "Pioneers of Kissimmee River"
Samuel Prescott, a native of Appling County, Georgia, brought his family to Joshua Creek settlement, Manatee County, Florida, in 1866. Becoming dissatisfied with the area, he started to return to south Georgia but was told about a section of northeast Manatee County that might be more to his liking. He moved to the present Sebring area and stayed there until his death in 1897.

Samuel and his wife Lucy (Peterson) Prescott had the following children:

James Prescott, born Sept. 21, 1851; married 1st—Oregon Gillespie; 2nd — Martha Jane Boney.
Mary Prescott, born June 24, 1853; married Andrew Williams.
Narcissus Prescott, born April 22, 1855; married William Parnell.
Sarah Prescott, born Aug. 23, 1857; married Off Williams.
John M. Prescott, born July 21, 1860; married Sophia Augusta Sellers.
Hiram Prescott, born Jan. 6,1863; died June 8,1903; married Louisa Durrance.
Henry Prescott, born May 27, 1865; died single in 1913.
Lemuel Prescott, born Nov. 5, 1867; married Jennie Crews.
Elvira Prescott, born April 2, 1870; married George Budd.
James Prescott, son of Samuel and Lucy (Peterson) Prescott, was a pioneer settler along the Kissimmee River, settling there about 1893. He lived at numerous places in the area, from Basinger to points north. He and his first wife had several children. James and Martha

Jane (Boney) Prescott had the following children: Sophia; Lemuel; Bill; Lucy; Flossie; Henry; Wilford; Roseada; and James, Jr.
you may want the boney part also as he children with her.

my grandmother was raised by the prescots, her mother married james prescott, and his children were her half-brothers and sisters. i don't have very much on either family, i am not sure if this the right family for you
but is samuel prescott, without the e. for the middle initial .
