Kari, thank you for getting in touch with me. We are cousins, closer than some, since Helen Garbutt Guthrie's mother was my mother's first cousin.
I'd lost track of the family some time ago until finding the Indiana Co., PA newspaper archive on ancestry.com and reading about Helen and Arley Guthrie. My elderly Aunt Adelaide remembered your grandmother and asked me to find her. I wasn't able to in time for Aunt Adelaide.
Do you have a copy of your grandfather's obit to include in the Johannes Conrad Mohr's obituary book? It's getting close to 800 family obituaries.
