Yes, Ollie, I am. All DeJarnettes (deJarnettes, DeJournats, etc) are. Jean was the only immigrant by that name as late as 1957, and there are no DeJarnettes in France, so any you meet are Jean's kids.

The Tidewater book has the old information. I've seen it, but it's been years. The latest information, "DeJarnette and Allied Families in America" has some of the information I'm seeking about these people, but there's also a major mistake in this line. I don't know if there are still descendants living or not who came from Sidney Reid deJarnette. He was a half brother to my gr-gr-grandfather, Henry Reid deJarnette. How did you happen up on the Doughtery Co. forum?
