Virginia,

I am looking for info on the following Nunnally/Nunleys:
My ggrandmother's name was Frances Lo Deamie Nunnally. She was born August 4, 1881 in Talladega County AL (maybe Sycamore). She married Thomas H. McCarty on March 22, 1908 in Sycamore; I have a copy of the marriage certificate. She died in La Grange GA (Troup county) on July 27, 1965, according to the GA death index (#22208) and is buried (no inscription) in Albany GA's Riverside cemetery downtown with her husband and some of her children and my grandfather, Marvin Benton.

Frances NUNNALLY and Thomas McCarty's children (according to Frances' granddaughter Alma Frances Williams):

Sarah Jane, m. Virgil Williams in 1935. Both died in the mid 1990s in LaGrange, GA.

Raymond married Amy C.???. He died in 1971 and is buried in Albany, GA.

Bessie Lee, born in Goodwater, AL died before she was 1 year old.

Fred, born in Goodwater, AL, married Alice ??? and died within the last two years in FLA.

Daisy Lou, born in Goodwater, AL, died in 1918 at a very young age.

Curtis Lamar (my uncle's namesake) was killed at 18 years old.

Lillian Gladys (my grandmother), born October 26, 1921 in Goodwater, AL, married Marvin Andrew Benton on October 5, 1940. She remarried twice more after Marvin died in 1946.

I have been trying to link them to the GA candy Nunnallys with no luck. I think there is probably some Creek Indian in there as well.

Any help would be a long awaited breakthrough!
