I have substantial information on John Stewart of Dooly Co., GA. Definite identification and good descendant information on four of the five youngest children: John Nelson (1828 GA-1903 MS), Charles (1831-aft 1850 - no further info), James (1833 GA - 1906 TX), Sarah Ann Wilks (1835 GA - 1914 LA), Eli (1838 GA - 1915 TX). Thanks to your e-mail, have now positively identified one of the two early 1820 daughters, an Elizabeth (1820s GA - bef. 1900 LA?)who married first Samuel Anderson, had two daughters, Malissa and Celema, both born in barbour Co., AL in early 1850s. Samuel apparently died and Elizabeth then married 2nd William Ham before 1860 in Barbour Co., AL, but had no more children. Unfortunately, I have no direct information on your Malissa Stewart? Hawkins or the 6 children of John older than she.
Have tried repeatedly to contact you directly with no response. Would like to share information.
