Gladys Peacock: I noted your messages relating to the Orphans Cemetery in
Eastman and your name. In the very early 1900's, my father and his
siblings spent some time there in the care of "Uncle Jay". One of is
sisters was named Gladys Williamson, married Harris Coleman, lived a
while in Eastman, then moved to Decatur. I also have notes that there
is a Hybert Hardy and a Hybert Smith buried in that cemetery. Since
Hybert is an almost unique name-there are five of us in my
Williamson line-I would like to visit and learn what I might about
connections there. Does your
library have local history on these topic?
