I just finished reading the book by Jane Walker of McRae, Ga. and Chris Trowell, The Dodge Land Troubles 1868-1923 and am interested in knowing who the decendents are of one of the men involved in the conspiracy to murder John C. Forsyth in 1890. His name was Charles Clements and would have been born in Telfair County around 1873. Nothing much is said about his family in the book, but he had a brother, Bill, who himself was also murdered for unknown reasons. This is a very intriguing book.
