I found the following obit in the "Dodge County Newspaper Clippings, Vol. VI, 1936-1941, pgs. 3107 & 3108, publication dated Thursday, June 27, 1940 by Tad Evans. These clippings are from the Times Journal of Eastman, Ga. Note: Her middle name that is in the obit is as it was in the book.

Death Comes to Mrs. Sarah Evans

Mrs. Sarah Ella Evans, a beloved Eastman woman, died in a local hospital Sunday afternoon, after having been admitted as a patient the previous Thursday. Septicemia is assigned as the cause of death.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, Reuben Evans; two daughters, Harline and Sallie, and three sons, J.W., Ben, & Raslus.
Funeral services were conducted at Parkerson Baptist Church Monday afternoon by Rev. J.B. Evans and Rev. John Taylor. Favorite hymns were sung by a selected chorus.
I.C. Fordham, James Gay, J.B. Dennis, Preston Woodard, T.O. Mullis and O.E. Johns served as pallbearers. Interment was in the church cemetery, Noles Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
